Amazing MT for the 1st 15k miles
Installed the Maxxis Razr MT 37x13.5r17 on my Braptor after the first 600 miles, since the stock BFGs were too soft and simply dangerous on the highway in cold weather. The Razrs are a great tire and were initially quite for an MT, but even with a 5-wheel rotation every 4k-5k miles they really begin howl after 15k miles. At 19k miles (down to 9/32 tread depth) they became so loud in the Bronco with the thin hard top that it became difficult to have a conversation, so I started looking at different options and now I am trying out the Toyo MTs. Overall, the Razrs are a great MT tire in my opinion but get loud and will not last longer than 30k on a 6,000 lb Bronco Raptor, so if you don't mind spending $2k+ on tires every 20k miles then they are a great option.
Great tires
Very quick in shipping and lovevtires
Love these tires
Very aggressive, quiet on the road, balanced well. Will buy again if treadware is good.
Great tires! Ride smooth
They've been good tires! Definitely recommend!
Wore really quick on 2500 duramax
Great tires
Great tires and seem to be wearing well. Quiet for a mud tire.
Best MT for the price HANDS DOWN
I'm about to order my second set of these. After running my first set for 5yrs/seasons and getting everything I could ask for. Aired down on the beach fishing, aired up and running in snow, these tires have impressed me everywhere and get compliments non-stop. They're showing their age now and starting to look dry, but are still really quiet even at 60%+ wear compared to some new MTs I've heard. I run the Maxxis AT in the Winter and it's also top notch. Will continue to run Maxxis sets year round as long as they're under <$300 a tire. I get a good discount on GY tires and they still blow them out of the water!
Best MT for my $$, third season on 34s
Running on my built 4runner. Have always run Maxxis on my mountain bike and couldn't say no for the price. I swap mine on in Spring at 40psi and run them to the end of Fall across beaches, light off-road and job sites all Summer. Just put them on for the 4th year and plenty of tread left to get me through this season. Theyve always had a great low hum and are getting louder naturally, but are still pliable and not nearly bad enough to even disrupt conversation or music. Get lots of compliments, haven't tried in snow but will be buying another set end of year can't beat them.
Great Tires
I bought these tire to go on my 2020 gmc. I got the tires in march of 2021. I am just now ordering a new set to replace them. I have nothing bad to say about this Maxxis RAZR MT. it preform great off road and on road as well with very little noise to be a mud tire. I have got just about 80k miles out of the bad boys. I am ready for my new ones. I will continue to buy these as long as they sell them.
